Little man picnic: Jake's first birthday

Our littlest man turned 1 last Sunday!I can't believe how fast the year has gone!

We've had a crazy couple of weeks so we planned the party to be low-key and low stress. We arranged to meet up with family at the Coatesville market and feast on delicious market food. Mmmm mmm!

I'm a sucker for themes but wanted to keep it simple so I went down the "little man" path and for a bit of fun made cup cake toppers, mustache party blowers and napkins with ties on them. The birthday boy wasn't too keen on the napkins- he thought we we're trying to blow his nose- but he was a big fan of having all the food within reach and crawl-through range.

If you haven't been put to the Coatesville market I seriously recommend it! It's on the first Sunday of every month from 10-2. I'd go back for the cheese alone!
